Deep aubergine, near enough to plum that it shifts with the light. The cape is cut oversized with a wide boat neckline and dramatic draped sleeves that fall like batwings and pool at the wrist. It pulls straight over the head; there is no closure in it at all. The knit is nubby and plush, matte, with no sheen. Made to put on over everything else and then stop thinking about.
