A very pale yellow throughout, nearer cream than butter. The bodice is smocked into a raised, puckered texture, and a narrow openwork band marks the natural waist. Below it the skirt falls in three tiers of light, gauzy ruffles. The neckline is high and round with a small frilled edge, the sleeves are short and puffed, and a teardrop keyhole opens at the back. The dress is cut short or long, whichever you choose.
