Oatmeal beige, cut as a column that falls close to the ankle. One shoulder is bare; the other carries a draped panel, and from it a long silk sash hangs the length of the dress. The back is open, gathered at the hip into a ruche that pulls the line off centre. The cloth is matte with a visible slub in the weave and no lustre anywhere, so the sash is the only part of it that moves separately.
