Houndstooth, brown on beige, woven through both pieces of the set. The top is fitted and seamed with a round neckline and very short cap sleeves, closing on four covered buttons. The skirt runs long, well past the knee toward the ankle. The check is matte with the weave visible in it, and both pieces are cut from one cloth, so the pattern carries unbroken from shoulder to hem.
