Small red flowers embroidered onto a white ground, raised enough that the thread catches the light rather than lying flat as a print would. Openwork trim runs in panels down the bodice and corset-style seam channels draw the waist in. The skirt falls in three tiered ruffles with scalloped edges. A sweetheart neckline sits above short puffed sleeves cut lighter than the body. What separates this from the other Dose dresses is that the pattern is worked into the cloth, not laid on top of it.
