A beige shift dress in a flecked bouclé weave, cut close through the torso to a straight mini hem. The neckline is round and high with no collar, the sleeves are short and set flat at the shoulder, and gold domed buttons run the full length of the front. The trim is self-toned rather than contrasting, so the line stays quiet: this is the plain edition of the Vivienne, and the cloth is the whole of its interest.
